Buffett hasn"t shied away from voicing his opinions at Gillette. In 1996, the billionaire sought to slash a $30 million fee promised to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in connection with Gillette"s acquisition of Duracell International Inc. And according to a report in Chain Drug Review, Buffett sought the resignation of Michael Hawley as Gillette"s CEO in late 2000.
